Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-06

This policy explains what GreenOps, a service operated by AMP Services (Florida, United States), collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers both the people who sign up for a GreenOps account and the customer records those account holders store in the app.

Who we are

GreenOps is operated by AMP Services, based in Florida, United States. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights described below, write to info@ampservicesus.com.

What we collect

We collect four kinds of data:

  • Account data — the name, email address and password you give us when you register. Passwords are stored only as a bcrypt hash; we never store or see the plain text.
  • Business data you enter — your clients, their properties and addresses, your crews, jobs, job photos and invoices.
  • Technical data — the language you choose, your session cookie, and the server logs and security records our hosting provider keeps about your own use of the app (IP address, timestamp, requested page). We do not run advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
  • Approval evidence — this one is not about you: when a client approves a quote we record their name, the date, the IP address and the browser as evidence of the approval; they are kept for as long as the quote exists. See “Data about your customers” below.

Why we use it

We use your data to run the service you signed up for: authenticating you, storing the jobs and invoices you create, sending transactional email such as password resets, taking payment for your subscription, and keeping the service secure and available. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

Data about your customers

GreenOps is a tool you use to run your own business. When you record a client, a property address or a job photo, that information is about a third party who never interacted with us directly. For that data you are the controller and we act as your processor: we store and process it on your instructions, and we do not use it for any purpose of our own.

When a client approves a quote we record their name, the date, the IP address and the browser as evidence of the approval; they are kept for as long as the quote exists. That record is stored in our database, not only in our hosting provider’s logs, and for it too you are the controller and we are your processor.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter that information, for telling your own customers how you use it, and for answering any request they send you about it. If one of your customers contacts us directly, we will refer them to you.

Subprocessors

We do not run our own servers. The following providers process data on our behalf, and each is bound by its own data-processing terms:

  • Vercel — application hosting, request routing and server logs (United States).
  • Neon — the Postgres database where your account and business data is stored (United States).
  • Stripe — subscription payments. Stripe collects your billing details directly; GreenOps never receives or stores your full card number.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional email such as password resets.

International transfers

Our providers are based in the United States and your data is stored there. If you use GreenOps from outside the United States, you are sending your data to the United States for processing.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is open. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except where we have to keep something longer to comply with tax or accounting obligations — invoice and payment records in particular are generally kept for seven years. Backups roll off on their own schedule and are overwritten within 35 days. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop processing it, in which case we will normally have to close your account, since we cannot run the service without it. Most of this you can do yourself from inside the app; for anything else, write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — for example under the GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, or under the CCPA if you are a California resident. We apply the rights described here to everyone regardless of location. To exercise any of them, contact info@ampservicesus.com.

Cookies

We set a session cookie so you stay signed in, and a cookie that remembers your language. Both are strictly necessary for the service to work and neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Access to the production database is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Children

GreenOps is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
